About
I am an ambitious industrial designer/ design generalist in Portland, OR recently furloughed and seeking new job opportunities. I have almost 10 years ID experience and well over a decade professional experience in the design field. I have designed for major international brands such as Bosch/Thermador, Staples, P&G and Gillette as well as helped build award winning brands out of independent start ups.
I am bold but calculating, with a deep curiosity about the how’s and why’s of consumer habits, human nature and brand loyalty. My previous background as an artist really drives my process to the intersection of art, culture and manufacturing while my love for the outdoors inspires me to design better products for people, the environment and the future. -

CAD DetailerClassic Exhibits / Eco SystemsPortland, ORSep 2016 - Mar 2020 (3 years 6 months)General duties entails 3d modeling exhibits based on designer sales order / renderings, preparing manufacturing details for production of exhibits and creating graphic templates for client artwork. Problem solving, engineering and light geometry are a large portion of each job. I work directly with multiple teams including designers, project managers, and the manufacturing/ production team.
Maintain detailed drawings and production notes on a growing number of jobs and predesigned kits. Other duties include solving engineering problems to make designer and client ideas manufacturable, easy to assemble and under budget as well as modeling and rendering new designs for clients and marketing materials. -
