D.C. Slider is a graphic novelist and digital painter, graduating with a BFA in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010 and an MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts in 2012. Slider’s work has appeared in Tan Lines, an independent film produced by The Group Entertainment, and has hung in the Corcoran Gallery of Washington D.C.
An independent cartoonist, Slider has also assisted at Marvel Entertainment in New York. Influenced by modern politics, underground comics, and alternative music, Slider’s coming of age stories comment on social movements in American culture.
