I am a practicing Landscape Architect who thrives on shaping spaces and materials into meaningful and beautiful places that clients can fall in love with. I approach every design opportunity as a unique set of circumstances, both in regards to the physical demands and limitations of the site, and the dreams and needs of the people who ultimately enjoy the places. This provides a framework within which I use traditional materials which have been time-tested--natural stone, fired clay brick, concrete & mortar, water movement and sound, plant textures--and try to combine them in new and creative ways. I strive to create unique spaces with classic design principles, which provide privacy, beautiful views, pleasant sounds and smells, and make something soft, graceful, and natural.
