Versatile Illustrator

Non-Western art was a crucial influence in shaping my artwork. And of course leading artists such as Henry Moore, Picasso, Paula Rego, Tony Cragg, Brancusi, Anthony Caro, Celia Paul, Käthe Kollwitz and Giacometti became influences.

From Jacques-Louis David, Watteau, Goya, Veronese, Tintoretto, Sisly, and Monet - despite their differences in period and style - I absorbed the 'musical fluidity' of color.
