Davide Loris Amantea

My name is Davide Loris Amantea, and I am a Senior Exterior Designer with more then 10 years of experience.

I graduated from Istituto Europeo of Design in 2006, and since then I worked for many different brands.

I started off already in 2005 as a trainee at Idea institute, and in 2006 moved to Fiat Advance Design office.

Later on I was promoted to the Alfa Romeo and Maserati Design team, where I designed both Exteriors and Interiors, working on projects like as Alfa Romeo 4C Concept and Maserati Kubang Concept.

In 2011 I joined Italdesign Giugiaro (VW Group), where I had the possibility to work on a consistent number of different projects as Senior Exterior Designer/Project Leader, like, among the others, MAIN DESIGNER Bentley SUV (Bentayga) and the Audi TT Allroad Shooting Brake Concept.

Also, I had the possibility to improve my skills at leading and managing resources, and at simultaneously working on different tasks and concepts, from researches to the scale 1:1 model.

In 2013 i became TEAM LEADER and i could improve my ability to follow more projects at the same time and driving different team .

In 2015 i decided to move in UK and work for LAND ROVER at the design center in Gaydon , an d i keep my previews position as EXTERIOR TEAM LEADER creative design Department .

I have participated in many creative projects, but I have also worked on prototypes and master models of projects that will come out soon.

In March 2017 after two years in Land Rover i decided to move in Germany and i Joined NIO as LEAD EXTERIOR DESIGNER . I am currently working on an exciting program .
