Hello There,
My name is Dashiell Krehel. I am happy to see you are interested in my work. It is my dream to make the world a more entertaining place with my creations. As a designer, functionality, simplicity, and sustainability are always at the front of my mind, but my top priority is that my designs are enjoyable.
If i had to dig a ditch and could take a pick of two shovels. One that would make my digging go faster, or a second that would be a pleasure to use. I would choose the shovel that is a pleasure to use. I would rather enjoy what I am doing than have what I am doing be easy. -

B.F.A. Industrial DesignSavannah College of Art and Design2005 - 2009Attending SCAD was a wonderful was to start my career as a designer. I learned everything that is required to take an idea and turn it in to a mass produced product. I excelled at; concept sketching, model making, creative problem solving, and ergonomic research. In addition to my Industrial Design training, I learned the tools used in Graphic and Furniture Design, and am now able to apply the rules I learned in my Industrial Design schooling across all of those fields.

Web Design/Photo EditerLos Angeles, CANov 2013 - Present (11 years)Working Freelance to assist with the layout of the website, and editing product images so that they are web ready. I work with the product photographer to set up the photo studio and we discus how to best highlight products.

Using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office on a regular basis to accomplish my daily tasks.

Product DesignerO2-CoolChicago, ILNov 2010 - May 2012 (1 year 6 months)I worked freelance designing portable electric fans. I took my designs form concept sketches to prototypes and technical drawings. Working closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to make sure my designs were cost effective and easy to manufacture.
