• Was the lead instructor for SPSS, Atlas.TI, & poster development
• Conducted a program evaluation to further the curricula development
• Worked with community members to facilitate the students learning experience outside of the classroom

• In my first year I lead the first group to ever complete their research & publish their findings in a peer-reviewed journal.
• The following year, my second cohort also published their findings.

Co-primary investigator for an IRB-approved needs assessment & evaluation of refugee & asylum seeker service providers in Texas & Oklahoma for The Center for Survivors of Torture.
Qualitative & quantitative research including:
• 2.5 months of in-depth literature reviews
• Over 40 hours of participant observation
• Extensive in-depth interviews of service providers & clients
• Survey of additional service providers
• A presentation of findings & recommendations with a written report was then provided
• Project was the 1st of its kind at the University of North Texas & in the field of torture rehabilitation in Texas.
