I imagine stuff. I make stuff.
Since I was a kid, I’ve looked around at things and wondered how they were made … how they were manufactured … how they work.
I started drawing very young … around 3 years old. Soon I was tinkering … inventing and making things.
Fast forward to college … after studying Fine Arts at Edinboro University for a year, I knew something was missing. I found that something in the University of the Arts’ Industrial Design program. Industrial Design was a good home for me as it allowed me to apply my artistic skills toward the design and fabrication of marketable products and utilitarian, functional pieces. Industrial Design also provides me the opportunity to find artful ways to problem-solve. I enjoy the entire journey from concept sketch to final production and fabrication.
So I’m an Industrial Designer. I work with most materials … wood, metal, plastics, ceramics and fabric. I make everything from invention prototypes and costumes to furniture and corporate displays.
I’d love to help you with your next project!
