Kitchen Redesign - New York
If you've ever lived in New York City, you probably know of the dilemma of the tiny galley kitchen. Sue and Steve came to me for a complete renovation of their bite-sized kitchen. They gave me total creative freedom. The only guideline was to keep it cheap.
The space was tight, so the challenge was to use every square inch wisely. I created a space-saving rack to hang pots and pans, designed cabinet doors that become table top surfaces when needed, and in the very narrow areas I created pull-out pantry shelves to make use of previously unusable space.
I designed and fabricated everything in the kitchen with the exception of the stove and refrigerator. The sink I designed but sent out for fabrication.
