Daniel Phillips

Currently a student at the University of Central Lancashire, completing my Masters degree in consumer product design after having studied on the undergraduate course. The past year has allowed me to gain real experience dealing with manufacturers and clients whilst completing both my personal project in loudspeaker design and undertaking several external projects for various freelance briefs. This work has encouraged the development of various essential skills that are required by every designer, such as design for manufacture, effective communication of concepts and ideas to clients, communication with manufacturers and resolution of problems and the manufacture of working prototypes for final proofing.

The Masters course runs through until October at which point I will be seeking a job in the consumer electronics industry with the hope of breaking into the Loudspeaker industry.
