Responsible for every aspect of the design process from initial client contact and sales, to writing creative briefs, to costs and time frames, to creation of all projects, to scheduling outside vendors such as illustrators, photographers, and video production, to the delivery of the final printed or digital product.

Successfully helped grow this business from a department of one designer in a small office to supervising five designers and a copywriter.

Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a design staff of up to five designers. I was also responsible for the creation of work flow policies, client meetings and presentations, writing design and project briefs for potential clients and projects, the assignment of projects to each designer or design team, and the guidance and proofing of each project to insure quality control and that all creative and marketing criteria were met.
