Dan DiCapite

I am a designer based in Brooklyn, NY. My specialty is designing user-friendly interfaces for apps and websites. I own and operate my own agency, Codi Studios, where I design and leverage my network of developers to build innovative products for our clients.

Previously a Creative Director at ESPN, I have years of experience in editorial and sports applications. Currently I license the Fantasy Draft Engine, a fantasy football app, to ESPN for their ESPN Insider subscribers. The app maintains over 100k users.

I also oversee the design for El Buho Mezcal including designing their website and promotional materials. Most recently we launched our new Especial product line where I designed matte black bottles with our white-etched signature owl, and innovative color-coded wraps to distinguish between the various blends.

I received my BS in Business Management from Cornell University, with a concentration in Architecture and Design. This experience allows me to manage and execute on many levels and in many arenas from the digital to physical world.

Most recently I completed a restoration of an 1860's building in Brooklyn, NY that included a full heating system conversion, electrical upgrade, steel foundation overhaul, and 5 newly designed apartments.
