The changing light of day and the moods it creates are the foundations of my artwork. My work usually starts with a color idea, and then evolves into compositions in which color is the primary subject. Effectiveness and simplicity are my primary goals. My primary focus as an artist is to make something that looks like it was simply made but has an abundance of meaning, emotion, emphases, etc.
