Amber Medlock

As a recent graduate of Tidewater Community College’s Interior Design degree program, Amber Medlock served as a Magna Cum Laude member of Phi Theta Kappa’s TCC chapter and as a member of A.S.I.D.’s TCC Student Chapter. Having built many relationships and connections through the interior design network, she is ready to make her mark on the world of Interior Design.

Amber’s style ranges from classic chic to fun and eclectic. She believes good design redefines itself and that designers must stay on top of current and changing trends to meet the needs of their clients. She also believes that design must be cohesive inside and outside - utilizing her degree in Horticulture by integrating landscape design into her layouts. She likes to take her client’s interests and requests and put a unique twist on them to bring them to life. Her love of nature and plants can be seen through many of her designs even in subtle ways by using foliage-themed fabric and prints, including plants indoors and out, and incorporating the views outside when designing interiors.

Designing residential kitchens and baths, landscape design, and floral design are Amber’s passions, however, she has a wide range of design abilities including commercial design and universal design. With more than five years of retail management experience, she remains in close contact with the design team and is engaged throughout the entire project from client consultation through the actual remodel. Amber loves to bring a client’s vision to life beyond their expectations!
