Blue was chosen for the "Lock up your tools" collection of marketing materials. This presentation was given by NSW Police to encourage Tradies to lock up their tools and make life harder for criminals targeting buildling sites and the homes of tradies.

Tool theft is common, especially from Tradies trucks/toolboxes that are not locked up. As a Crime prevention strategy an initiative was developed to remind Tradies, Tourists and Car owners to lock up their valuables. This was designed as an A4 poster that could be handed out by Crime Prevention Officers.
The "Lock up your car" collection design was based around the colour red and the car door lock.
The "Lock up your luggage" collection design was based around the colour green and the typical luggage padlock.

"Lock up" initiative

The "Lock up" initiative was proposed by the Crime Prevention Team in NSW Police Force to help Tradies, Tourists and Car owners remember to lock up valuables. This initiative used a series of colours to differentiate the 3 strains of this marketing and worked on the "lock" concept. I briefed the photographers in taking the necessary photos for this series. Special permission was sought to show these designs from Public Affairs, NSWPF 2015
