Assisted the Creative Services team with packaging production assembly, product back cards, hang tags, labels and product photo editing for three lines of organic and sustainable pet products.

Assisted this Management Training Company with a variety of work in Adobe InDesign, Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and social media. Created 265 page workbook in Adobe InDesign. Combined text heavy documents and white papers while adding new elements and keeping style consistent. Created large scale trade show signage, banners, brochures, and newsletter content editing.

Worked full-time, in-house with studio team to create and edit graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 for Common Core Standards Language Arts and Math iPad App for public schools K-12.

Assisted the Senior Graphic Designer with label, box, carton and wrapper mechanicals for CPG organic and non-GMO food products. Experience resizing mechanicals(aka "line extensions") and working with US- Canadian dual-language labels. Created t-shirt design mockups and an App logo. Art Works Downtown is a 40,000 square foot Art Center in downtown San Rafael with 35 artist studios, 3 galleries, workshop space, 17 artist apartments, and a restaurant adjoining the main gallery that caters to art lovers. The gallery was voted "Best of Marin" during the 2 years I was employed here.

I was responsible for:

• Print and web graphics with web content management/maintenance in Joomla 1.5
• online PR and marketing, including all graphics for print, web, exhibits, events, artists listings and opportunities, classes and collaborative events with the Café, press releases, and communications with the public via monthly e-news
• Interfaced with outside printing companies, photographers, vendors, local businesses and non-profits
• maintained internal communications with Director, Program Manager, Board and working artists
• Solicited and managed in-kind donations for events from local businesses
• Submitted grants and recommendations to Board and fundraising committee for 2013 goals in collaboration with the new Café
• Photographed exhibits and events for promotional and web use
• Social media updates on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

Gallery management, sales, educational support, graphic design, and marketing work with creation of weekly Enews and monthly artist opportunities listings for the Council. Software used: Constant Contact, html coding, Photoshop, Facebook, Filemaker Pro for processing payments, membership, donations and artists entries to exhibits. Installed exhibits. Managed events, including "Poetry Outloud", 2nd Fridays Art Walks, and assisted with Marin Open Studios, and all receptions. Created scavenger hunt during "Nature's Palette" exhibit that brought in hundreds of Marin families to our gallery in downtown San Rafael.

Freelance writer/photographer working under the editor, Kelly Dunleavey, of San Anselmo/Fairfax Patch news. Wrote several articles on the Arts in San Anselmo and Fairfax, California.

I worked with the Creative Director at See Here Studios to promote their 3D storybook apps for the iPhone and iPad, with parent outreach events, email campaigns, and managed their Facebook and Twitter accounts via Hootsuite. Pro-bono print and web graphics work for The Alpineer Club, Lansdale Playground Remodel, Mt. bike fundraiser, and local health center. Print design work for Local Flora, Sound Beach Technologies, Marin Coffee Roasters, and Rita Lane Hair Design. Created and sold oil paintings; donated paintings to auction fundraisers. Awarded Marin Arts Council Career Grant, and the Wendy Gruber Award for plein air painting. YES Foundation Art Project organizer for Wade Thomas School K-4th grade classes. Print design and blog maintenance for “Art on the Farm” art group. Designed 62 page elementary school yearbook in InDesign.

Designed 30+ bikes for girls, including bags, bells, seats and accessories. Designed top 3 selling boys’ bikes and mt. bike decals. Created sketches, comps., mechanicals for final production in Taiwan.

Designer for Zoomerang.com. Assisted in several site redesigns, marketing landing pages, animated gif ad banners, site map creation, and various other graphics work for clients and other internal projects, including co-branding banners and graphics for zTelligence, an on-line service product of MarketTools.

Assembled prototypes (in Director) for Dr. Suess Toddler and Dr. Suess Kindergarten. Assisted on Mark Brown’s Aurthur series of cd-roms. Created and documented art processes for use by team. Assisted on production of large scale, children’s interactive website for The Learning Company. Responsible for arranging all art in Flash, optimizing art, adding buttons and functionality to the Flash file prior to hand-off to the main programmer. Created art content and assembled pages in html.

Created art and animation for children’s math cd-roms; “Numbers Galore”, and “Polar World”. Involved from concept to completion of art. Products help to mainstream children with disabilities.

Created color models for 18 character adventure game. Director animation assembly, and paper animation fixes of out-of-house animation work.

Stellaluna cd-rom; traditional character animation of animals and bats, and assembly of animations, lipsynch and timing in Director. Coloring processes in Photoshop and Debabelizer.
