Engagement Ring
This ring was custom designed to hold
diamonds that have been passed through generations. The design is inspired by the original ring that held the diamonds with a few stylistic updates as well as some changes to make the ring more comfortable and the diamonds more secure.
The ring was first modelled in Rhino. Once the visual design was ready, a couple of
prototypes were printed, in plastic to check the fit of the ring and the dimensions of the stone settings. Once the final adjustments were made, the ring was printed in high
resolution in wax and then cast in 14k white. The diamonds were set and final finishing/
polishing was completed by hand.
