By far the part of my past work I am most proud of is my project management of forty publicly commissioned murals around Washington, DC. In this capacity I have had the opportunity to work with many groups to create works that give context and identity to the spaces they are installed. Of these works, one mural stands out amongst the rest as my favorite and an example of my creative potential.
Funded by the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities in 2015, Living Time Line: Paul Robeson is the first interactive public mural in the District. Located at 1351 U Street NW, the massive mural stretches 144 ft w x 35 ft t and includes an interactive time line of selected events from the famous singers life, with digital content embedded in the murals paintings, which the viewer accesses via an Augmented Reality application on their mobile devices.
