Hello. I expand the services of a product developer and industrial designer to include fabrication and manufacturing setup. This streamlines the design process while maintaining flexibility and lowering costs. I have over 25 years experience designing in several industries and work with a very hands-on craft approach that translates well to larger production. I offer expertise with a wide range of unique and emerging materials and have developed new production methods for working with them. My design work spans production from prototypes and small runs managed locally to mass production in Latin America and Asia. Concern for overall sustainability and the ecological impact of a design or system find equal priority with visual aesthetics and function. Many years of international sailing and renovating boats as a hobby give me a personal appreciation for rugged and reliable design. Few conditions test materials and design like those found in the marine environment. If it works well on a boat, take note. Cheers.
