Clarissa Bean is a textile artist raised in Bloomington, Indiana and a 2013 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Using fiber research and color combinations she’s able to visually create an interesting texture as well as a tangible comfort. She creates functional, special objects for the person that searches for beautiful texture.
Having grown up in a family of 6 children, Clarissa knows the importance of community and the value of your own space. She recently interned with surface designers Rob and Kyra Hartnett of Twenty2 in Connecticut, and currently works as a textile artists for Kohl’s Corporate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
