Managed FTI’s Bushing Lube Project – Researched and testing prototype equipment to bring FTI’s dry lube process in-house, a $408,000 capital project. Handled all communication with suppliers and team members and made recommendations on moving forward with installation with a potential savings of $118,000 annually. Tested and installed a vibratory deburr machine in FTI’s Finishing department. Wrote all work instructions and training documents process parts in-house, increasing throughput and reducing cost. In addition improvements in the productivity of the vibratory media/part separation process increases by 500%. Designed and modeled tooling for the shop floor using Solidworks to help FTI’s Turning and Milling departments reduce cost and increase productivity Designed and installed third ink jet park marking machine in Finishing department, increasing capacity by 50%

Managed Continuous Improvements by developing a spreadsheet to collect and organize information then completed open CI’s.
