Christopher Rotondo is an Illustration major at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Throughout his childhood until early high school he always enjoyed drawing. He decided to pursue concept art and creative direction to fulfill his love for telling stories and connecting with people and viewers. Throughout his early artistic career, he stuck with the few mediums that he was comfortable with. Pen, ink, graphite and sometimes colored pencil were all he knew. Once he began college that would all change. He began to use a variety of mediums to express himself and convey his messages. From acrylic, to charcoal and even watercolor, he began to expand his horizons and was hungry to learn anything new. Massive amounts of his inspiration come from his dreams, religion, and general observations. Movies, comics, and video games inspire him as well. He plans to eventually work for a video game developer and to create concept art. Christopher Rotondo plans to graduate in the spring of 2018 with a BFA in Illustration.
