+ Maintained the permanent exhibit "Cottonfields to Skyscrapers": cleaned; preformed regular check-ups; general maintenance.
+ Properly de-installed the "Out of the Shadows: Undocumented and Unafraid" temporary exhibit, and economically packaged them up for shipping.
+ Tasked with the assignment of designing and fabricating an interactive educational component for the incoming “Out of the Shadows: Gay America from Kinsey to Stonewall” exhibit, which ran from 7. 25. 2014 through 1. 25. 2015.
+ Researched in detail, then compiled and distilled information from, an unfamiliar topic to create the basis of the interactive.
+ Prepared, proposed, and regularly presented to the Vice-President of Exhibitions and other museum staff, a number of ideas for the interactive. Listened to critique; defended as well as adjusted design.
+ Refined the interactive exhibit to fit within specifications of the given space. Hand rendered final ideation.
+ Solely fabricated and assembled all elements of the interactive exhibit piece in the museum’s fabrication shop.
+ Prepared exhibit room: moved and painted painting walls, repaired and touched up display cases, installed the interactive which connected historical events and modern day topics, and imparted an experience in a way which individuals could relate to, interact with, learn from, and explore within, at their leisure.
+ Also installed "LGBTQ: Perspectives On Equality": installed walls; painted walls; arranged, centered and mounted photographs, cases and artifacts; constructed the other interactives: kiosks, cases, TV monitors.
+ Attended the exhibition grand opening, answered questions from attendees, and observed interactive in use.
+ Managed fabrication shop; aided in collections organization; performed daily permanent exhibit inspections and maintenance.
