DIY Movie Projector
The playback device included in a Super 35 Movie Camera Kit I received was faulty and never actually worked for me or the 35mm movies I shot. So I created a operable, hand-cranked projector which could project the 35mm film's frames to create a moving sequence; a movie.
An old Minolta SLR Camera Body served as the base for the projector, and I completed this project in one summer before having a movie night with my family!
