Is a knock down chair in birch wood designed for smart distribution and easy use.
The aim in this project was to focus on the wood’s qualities as a material to develop an innovative construction. Through experimenting with sticks I came up with a design where both the seat and legs together create support for a stable construction. This inter-action between the chairs different parts resulted in a three legged knock down chair.
An innovative construction combined with the capacity of the material resulted in a product which flat pack and are easy to assemble for the user.
Important in this project has been to emphasize the wood’s amazing qualities as a material.
Through its original appearance it also has a commercial use, for example as a free standing hall furniture.
