Chrissy Lau is a Sydney artist & illustrator. She has a strong distinctive illustration style with her signature delicate lines, masses of flowing hair & swirly patterns. Her illustrations are strongly influenced and inspired by her Chinese heritage. Chrissy's creative career includes curating exhibitions as an art gallery manager, running her own clothing label, exhibiting in the UK & Australia and illustrating commercially for the past 11 years. She also has 5 years experience in online digital media and currently focuses her expertise in Search Marketing. Most recently she designed a prestige limited edition coin for the Royal Australian Mint to commemorate the Year of the Snake 2013.
Chrissy's artwork is predominantly hand-drawn using ink & pen with a few finishing digital touches. She has been commissioned in the UK, USA & Australia to illustrate for some amazing clients ranging from coin designs, apparel, editorial, commercial interiors & outdoor. Her illustrations have adorned:
