Created a special event/theatrical stage design concept for the 2010 Mary Kay Leadership Conference in San Diego. Used my expertise in 3d Studio Max Design 9, AutoCAD 2009, and CS3 to creative a virtual white model (to present the flow and direction of the design) and front elevation rendering using the colors chosen by the client along with additional dimensional elements to draw focus to their rear projection screens. Responsible for the 3D experience for many exhibitions, corporate events, and trade shows produced for the 100+ clients. From brain storming to production detail, I was involved in every step of the design process for all the custom, rental, and event properties that were assigned to me. Some clients include The State of California, National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), International Pizzahut Franchise Holders Association (IPHFHA), McDonald's, and Hanley Wood Exhibitions.
• Conducted and led creative reviews to present concepts and refine direction of design and graphic treatments for final client selection. Clients included: Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees (AKFCF), International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association, Worldwide McDonald’s, Hampton Forge, and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.
• Spearheaded evaluation and brainstorming effort as design liaison to Hanley-Wood Exhibitions to simplify event designs and logistics support to address budget constraints resulting in reducing cost of event design collateral by $20,000,000 annually.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiencies in gathering client requirements which resulted in reduction of production costs by 45% saving our clients an average of $5,000,000 a year.
• Mentored a team of talented Visual and Graphic Designers cultivating creative problem solving approaches to design which resulted in steam lining the design processes of each team member and eliminated needless revisions on projects.
• Energized design team to aggressively respond to an event rescheduled due to Katrina Hurricane Disaster. Redesigned art-work to transition from New Orleans to Las Vegas, and leveraged team members’ expertise to maximize efficiencies in the creative process to deliver revamped designs within a 7 week time-frame.

Developed set designs for small to large corporate events ranging from 9K to more than 40K participants for Sprint, Mary Kay, Travel Industry of America, and Kawasaki. Provided guidance for event project management and supervised construction and set-up of set designs.
• Collaborated with marketing, sales, and the client to gather set-design information to enable creative design process in alignment with client expectations.
• Leveraged strong communication, time management, and project management skills to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
• Created floor plan and graphic display designs in Photoshop and transitioned to CAD for fabrication supporting 40+ special events and meetings.
• Selected as lead designer, over other internal and freelance design submissions, for the Mary Kay Leader Conference 2000, hosting over 20K attendees. Created 300 dpi 36” x 10” graphic display design (via Photoshop) and provided guidance for stage set-up at the Dallas Convention Center Arena Stage.
• Designated as project coordinator to facilitate construction and set-up of over 100 events and special meetings.
Directed union workers for design set-up and prioritized set-up activities to enable contracted team members to execute cohesively.
Utilized and improved set-design documentation to support standardization across all sites for corporate conferences, improving efficiencies and repeatability of set-up activities.
