GRAPHIC DESIGNER:
One of two in-house designers creating all company marketing materials in one of the nation’s largest yearbook publishers. Projects included four-color magazine production, advertising design, corporate image brochures, direct mailers and book cover illustration. Other responsibilities included conceptual design, color correction, film imaging, press proofing and dye-cut sketches.
PRODUCTION ARTIST:
Member of a team of ten artists responsible for creating prepress artwork for all book covers produced. One of four artists responsible for checking, trapping, and outputting all cover design artwork through a Screen FT-R3050 imagesetter. Other duties included designing various school idea sketches, creating Taylor Publishing Company standard cover layouts and traveling to yearbook seminars to aid schools in cover design.
