Hi and thanks for looking at my on-line portfolio. Hopefully I’m just who you’re looking for to create your next project.
I'm a confident and skilled designer and artworker who over the years has worked a wide range of publications and artworks. In the last year I’ve worked as production editor of Office Magazine and also produced a number of health and welfare based publications, featuring information generated from collected data, and have also produced articles and a range of illustrations and photos. As well as Information based directories I can produce academic, educational and trade journals as well as local history publications and Country Life style monthlies. I understand the protocols for producing books, periodicals, magazines and display advertising as well as clothing, exhibition and web based content.
I freelance for a number of businesses in Hertfordshire and Cambridge producing school prospectus and brochures, signage for the RSPB, display advertising for a number of businesses and a whole range of other commissions where I can swiftly establish excellent an working relationship with clients and editorial contributors, generating great looking finished products. A recent commission has been to produce a new logo branding for part of the Lords Taverners charity. With a keen eye for detail I'm sure I would enjoy taking up a new challenge with your organisation.
At home with pc or Mac, I use InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Office on a daily basis as well as Adobe Premiere for video editing. I can also produce websites from scratch or template, I love photography and video editing and I can illustrate, paint and design with traditional media. On the housekeeping side of things, I’m also at home with Excel and Access so can manage databases and budget sheets and with a meticulous eye for detail I can get projects in on time and to budget.
I’m married with two teenage daughters and four dogs. I enjoy playing cricket, follow Saracens and Arsenal and have an interest in reading, films and love travel. I can also speak decent conversational French.
I live 15 minutes from Cambridge and 35 minutes from Kings Cross.
