Product design and engineering services. Current clients include RQ Home, Questech and Challenger Lighting. For RQ Home and Questech, I provide SolidWorks, AutoCAD and design support. For Challenger Lighting, I engineer and provide AutoCAD drawings for custom lighting projects, typically for hotels such as Hyatt, Hilton and Marriott.

The country's oldest contemporary commercial forge producing high-end wrought iron lighting and accessories.
Developed yearly product line of contemporary lighting fixtures and home accessories.
Lead the lifecycle of assigned product development with a strong emphasis on 3D modeling and prototype refinement. Used SolidWorks & AutoCAD for design and Excel for data management.
Correlated design goals with production ability and processes such as forging, welding, casting, spinning, turning, machining, glass blowing and slumping to create unique parts.
Designed for cost efficient manufacturing and ease of assembly while maintaining original design integrity and intent.
Performed 1st article inspection and had sign-off responsibilities. Used calipers, gauges and scales to evaluate quality. Created quality reports for each article inspected, contacted vendors if parts were out of specification to explain variances and arrange for correct replacements.

Contract lighting manufacturer servicing the Hospitality industry.
Managed all new product development and design staff. In addition to original designs, worked with designers and clients to understand their design intent and expectations, then engineered products to meet their needs. Used AutoCAD to design parts and assemblies for production that were fabrication and assembly friendly Sourced new items and worked with vendors to create custom pieces, parts. IIDA / HD Design Competition: Lighting 1st Place: 2000, 2001 & 2002.

Very large offshore lighting vendor for the country*s largest residential lighting companies.
Managed Quoizel's product line. New product coordination between Quoizel, designers and D&J's offshore factories from design concept to final production. Created weekly Excel reports to track status of up to 150 SKUs in progress. Traveled to, Heng Lin, China, to do product reviews and inspections. Aided in new product design and modelmaking.

Product design and engineering services to clients in the Home Accessories market. Clients included: Waterford Wedgwood, The Pampered Chef, Harris Potteries and RBS China.
