Hello and thank you for taking a look.
What do you get when an engineer and a art teacher have a baby - a designer. That's one way to explain what an Industrial designer is when you get that questioning look from someone that just asked, "What do you do?"
Seeing and experiencing well thought out design, whether by someone else or by my own hands is exciting to me. Visual art, insight and physical proportion, its somewhat like music in solid form. Too theoretical? Ok.
A 26 year veteran of product and graphic design I am motivated through creating and experiencing good design. A well rounded designer with a good eye on customer and business goals. Able to align the tactical and strategic parameters in order to develop the appropriate solution from the information gathered about the pain point, need or want. Strong points are passionately devoted to creative thinking, exploration, team building and mentoring, thought provoking boundary stretching and inclusive ideating. Leader of front end innovation and possibility exploration. Fast fail, prototyping and MVP (minimum viable product) skillset. Developed 2 and 3D skills, CREO, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Keyshot, Powerpoint and prototype building (painting, metal and woodshop) and hand sketching.
