Changying Zheng

As a design leader, my job is to connect the dots between people, business, product, and technology. As a team leader, my job is to care personally, listen carefully, challenge directly, and facilitate. Throughout my 20+ years in visual design, UX design and marketing, I have made mistakes and learned a great deal.

As a design educator, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers. I spent several years teaching and leading a team of talented industry specialist sharing our knowledge in design, UX, and technology.

As an entrepreneur, I co-founded an award-winning mission-driven start-up business and successfully grew it with regional distributions. We developed alternative, sustainable, and health-oriented products. We hired at-risk youth from the neighborhood in which we were established. We were proudly diverse. We were often praised by local community organizations for our hiring practices whose emphasis was on the neighborhood. We focused on education, donating to local schools and organizations. We helped some of our more at-risk youth to apply to colleges and secure financial aid for their education.
