Over the past eleven years, I have been working in a heavily technical domain which has developed in me a balance of creativity and analytical experiences. I have spent my career using technology and communication skills to the deliver the messaging, using a consumer-centric approach, for more than 90 member companies.
With extensive experience in leading concept development, client-facing communications, and balancing the technical with creative. I have developed innovative research frameworks and methodologies to creatively solve problems through the use of information. A recent project example is found in our membership persona research project. This effort yielded 25 new opportunities and over twice as many new ideas to support the membership experience. As a result, NCMS has increased its members base by 31% and has retained 5 new strategic partnerships, which has brought in over $150K in new revenue.
In recent history, my work has grown into more a strategic role. In addition to my communication and marketing responsibilities, my roles have expanded to focus on customer research in support of leadership, operations, and strategy. I have worked to develop new engagement models to attract and broker new relationships as well as initiate key partnerships and foster opportunities with new stakeholders. I bring an experience with software application development lifecycles, agile, and lean workflows. My key differentiator is having the ability to walk on both sides of the fence--strategic and creative. This gives me a unique perspective toward creating ingenious solutions.
