Healing U.S. Healthcare is a manifesto co-designed, researched, and written by myself and Johns Hopkins bioengineering student Neil Rens during our internship at Involution Studios.
Over the span of two and a half months, we researched and collected data on the pitfalls of the healthcare system in the United States as well as the methods of repairing the system suggested by greats in the field. We designed a story that reflected the information we had learned, which was backed up with data visualisation that we created based on real data we had found during our research, and came up with an interactive visualisation to show different ways of repairing the system and - depending on the reader’s role in the scheme of healthcare - which routes the reader could take.
