- Project team for ASME's annual human powered vehicle challenge. Tasks involve researching materials, drawing preliminary designs and obtaining additional funding.
- Gained experience in applying principles of engineering to vehicle design and creatively addressing design problems given physical and cost constraints. Improved skills in working as a team member and in long term project planning.

Research Assistant

- Worked on two research projects. Current project involves investigating new techniques for colloidal crystal formation by manipulating properties of a liquid marble.
- Gained experience in manipulating material properties, using high speed imaging systems and software, and in evaluating physical systems in micro scale. Learned to tackle research roadblocks through creative experimental design in becoming an effective researcher and scientist.
