Produce a series of 9 workshops for Fashion Open Studio's COP26 programme.
Scouting, approaching & confirming locations/venues.
Securing & coordinating partnerships - educational institutions, cultural partners, studio spaces in the city.
Recruit & manage event staff/volunteers.
Liaise with the Fashion Open Studio team and the 9 international designers who showcased work.
Liaise with local and national partners including Fashion Revolution Global team & British Council.

Headhunted to teach technical fashion construction and draping techniques to 50 Nigerian fashion entrepreneurs in a collaborative project delivered by the British Council, Fashion Foundry and The Assembly Hub. This was a week long intensive based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Design and manufacture wearable items using waste fabrics and scraps donated to the Kinning Park Complex for the in-house sustainable fashion brand KPCouturé.
Organise and facilitate workshops and events to further engage the public with issues surrounding sustainable fashion.

Solely responsible for the pattern making, cutting and construction of garments and wedding dresses, both stock and made-to-measure, to a highly professional standard.
This role involved the use of industrial sewing machines and overlockers as well as hand sewing and creative pattern cutting.
I liaised with customers on a daily basis to discuss their individual requirements, from initial design sketches to final fittings, and ensured they were happy at each stage of the design and make process.

I underwent a two month placement in Berlin where I was working in the offices of an up and coming fashion/lifestyle magazine. My main duties included researching content and finding contributors for the up-coming issue, maintaining the magazines blog and social media sites, interviewing designers and musicians, attending events as the magazines representative and also making cups of tea!
