My work deals with the notion of jewelry as art for the body. I make jewelry that is bold and vivacious and is not only meant to adorn the body; each piece becomes an ornamental appendage of the body. All of these pieces rely on a wearer who is intrepidly daring, one who isn’t afraid of presenting an ostentatious flair. Everything we put on our bodies acts as a status symbol; the wearer uses jewelry as a way to publicize their economic status, sense of fashion, and personality.
