Lewit: Nordstrom's private label contemporary Women's apparel collection
-supporting Sr. Designer and Sr. Design Director in conception collection, all categories
-designing new collection based on sales data and trend analysis
-sketching collection by hand, Ipad and Illustrator
-preparing and handing off styles to technical designer and product developer
-mock-up, embroidery and muslin requests
-knitdown development
-collaborating with technical design and product development through production
-responsible for bulk BOM
-Interim coverage of Sr. Designer while on maternity leave, worked with Sr. DD on all categories, concept through production
Nordstrom Signature: Nordstrom private label luxury essentials
-responsible for cut and sew styles design and development
-supporting Sr. Design Director on trend direction and brand vision
-color palette creation
-seasonal concept story research and analysis

Assisting 2 teams in TBD/misses apparel.
Assisting with 8-45 denim bottoms, sweaters, cut-and-sew knits, and wovens per season.
Responsible for color library, color palette communication & other tasks as needed with a can-do attitude.
Supporting coloring the line and color palette creation.
Trend research and comp shopping.
Sketching: product illustration, including CAD fills, artwork and plaid creation.
Fabric & trims research, collaboration and selection.
Communicating design ideas to tech + product development including BOM creation.
2nd hand vendor communication through knit-down/mock-up/trim/wash/sample requests for vendors & 3rd party. Participate in fits, sketch fit udpates, maintain Flex (web PDM) and collaborate with sample approvals.
Flex workload, prioritize and collaborate to serve each team member and stay on top of calendar deadlines.
Support intern development and peer mentoring assistant designers.

Design development for prints & non-solids in Women's Apparel
Recolors within color palette, print specifications and communication with vendors. Collaborate with design and merchandising for final approvals. Print trouble-shooting.

-Design team support across all product categories: trend research, product illustration, tech packs, coloring, trims, and fittings.
-Solely responsible for sock collection and panty packs, from concept to conception.
-Maintained web PDM, sample racks, and textile & trim library.
-Communicated with suppliers in Asia and vendors in Europe.
-Collaborated with buying, marketing, tech and sample-making room.

-Assisting independent Barcelona-based designer Laia Roca and stylist Jess Monterde for Barcelona fashion week shows and editorial marketing.
-Styling and fitting support.
-Preparation of accessorized looks for runway.
-Managed model dressers and backstage day of show.
