About
I'm a film and design student at Arkansas State University who's probably in over her head. I've been dabbling in design and filmmaking, even gotten into making YouTube content. Despite my portfolio, what I truly want to do is animation. The moving image is an ever-intriguing and amazing process to me, and I hope to one day pursue and education and eventually a career in it. Even so, I have designed many a page and produced many a live production. Design is about banging your head into your computer until it works right and production is about banging other peoples heads into cameras until everything runs smoothly. At least that's how I've been working these past 2 years. In all seriousness, being a part of the storytelling process has been an amazing experience for me and I truly love every moment I'm behind a camera or at a computer designing the next page.

Bachelor of Science Film and DesignArkansas State University2013 - Currently EnrolledI've been studying film and design and kept a pretty good GPA at 3.699. My design GPA is actually 4.0. I'm known for turning in all my assignments on time despite many of them being quite ridiculous. I was once charged to design a 24 page book in 2 weeks. I didn't sleep much those two weeks, but it was turned in and I got very high marks. In my film and video production courses, all my films have received high marks and accolades from my professors as well. Finishing even a short film in one semester's time with no crew to help in your production isn't easy, but it did allow me to really get a feel for the entire filmmaking process.

Podcast Host/ProducerMilwaukee, WIMar 2016 - Present (8 years 10 months)I have produced a weekly podcast uploaded to YouTube which deals with animation news and reviews. I have one to two guests who help me delve into the finer points of animation as a form of story telling as well as an art form.

Independent ArtistIndependentMilwaukee, WIJan 2012 - Present (13 years)I've been designing and drawing for a good while now. I'd like to color myself a character designer, but my real expertise is in page layouts and typography. Even so, characters and people do interest me more. I've drawn and written a few comics, made a good bunch of illustrations digitally and traditionally, and I've done some live model figure drawing.
