Graham Burrows

What initially began as a side project, resulted in the creation of Burrows Design, offering logos, brand identity, packaging, web and graphic design services.

My love for logo design and the art of reduction and simplification forms an integral part of my design process.

An accumulation of skills developed over the years including but not limited to Web design, Wireframing, Graphic Design, Packaging Design, User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design (UI), Interaction Design (IxD), Logo Ceation, Corporate Branding, Layout Design, Problem Solving, Software Technical Support, Software training.

Responsible for website development within the design studio. Manage the Hallmark creative website and our Gifted competition website. Other duties include social media integration, helping to build a wider design community.

Day to day duties include 'soft' IT issues as the studio's technical liaison, usually resulting in specific problem solving.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop, including various other digital programs.

As part of a team of 6, I was responsible for the all digital development within the Tigerprint studio. Other skills included booklet creation, both digital and physical, continued packaging design as well as pop up card creation. A huge part of this role included product development for online solutions within the business. These ranged from DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems, both local and global, merchandiser app UI, and internal websites.

Styling and photography of student packaging entries for Student Starpack Awards promotional booklet. This also included post production editing, formatting and creating print ready files.

The Student Starpack Awards are intended for potential professional designers. In the past the awards have led directly to a number of employment opportunities for successful entrants. Entrants must be part time or full time students at a college of art, college or university in the UK or overseas.

This was a fantastic position as judge for the Student Starpack awards, judging packs from a variety of industry sponsorered briefs, including Coca Cola, DS Smith, Logoplaste, Graphic Packaging International and Smurfit Kappa.
