My passion for art sprouted at age four. I enjoyed drawing people and doodling all the time. However, I gradually experienced frustration at my inability to draw realistically. Along with drawing, a hobby growing up was creating floor plans for houses of all shapes and sizes. Spending hours building my creations with legos, I was almost convinced that architecture would be my bright future. But God had another plan.
The Lord led me to Pensacola Christian College where I finally had formal art classes. The fulfilling relief of learning traditional, realistic techniques was only one of the huge blessings the Lord granted me my first semester. I have also learned the importance of what my work communicates, explored many mediums and thoroughly enjoyed a variety of practical projects. I graduated in May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in visual arts with a concentration in studio art.
Currently I work full time as a Senior Administrative Assistant in Nashville, TN. I do my best to keep commissioned art work in my schedule and look forward to other ways God may choose to use my art.
With the abilities God has given to me, I want to produce artwork that communicates Bible truths and duplicates God's beautiful creation.
