Brenda Snodderly (Godbey)

16x20 oil on canvas. There is a great story behind this painting: My Aunt and Uncle both serve in the Army. Recently they just had their first child, a beautiful baby girl. Now my Aunt has retired to be a full time mom. My uncle is a wonderful man and surprised her with a big party in honor of her service to our country and as a mom.
The painting was an excellent idea that he had me complete with the Latin words meaning "Thank you for your service to me and to our country." I am so very thankful to be a part of this important honor with the Lord's help!
