During my almost 20 years working in the fields of architecture, interior architecture, product design and academia, I have spent roughly the last eleven years in the to-the-trade, luxury residential furnishings industry. There I have focused on product development from conceptual sketching and prototyping to market launch. I have enjoyed success through sales and industry awards, but more importantly through creating beautiful objects in collaboration with skilled craftspeople and manufacturers.
I thrive in the creative atmosphere of product development, and enjoy the challenge of creating something from nothing. The dialogue and pull between designer and maker is what drives me--between what could be and what is, possibility and reality. I look to historic reference, but create opjects for today, always striving to arrive at designs which seems as though it always were.
