Brian Kendall James

My name is Brian Kendall James Lowery and I am an artist. I have a natural talent for creative thinking and visual communication. My love for drawing began as a child and diversified after my introduction to graphic design as a freshman in high school. I continued my artistic education at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia. Beginning as a Graphic Design major, my passion was refined over the years of typography courses and visual design systems. By my Junior year, I enriched my creative breadth and conceptual thinking by exploring photography and becoming a Printmaking major. Today, as a SCAD graduate, visual storytelling fuels my ambition to further develop my creative brand as an artist and designer.

Kinetic energy excites me. I am intrigued by roller coasters and soul train lines when momentum and interest redirects my attention. Color and rhythm are my core principles when designing visual information to create engaging compositions and memorable images. From ideation to execution, problem-solving to collaboration, I will bring an innovative approach to branding strategy, editorial, publication, and website design.
