As a Design Engineer at ARBR Studios, I work as a bridge between Design & Engineering in luxury furniture & Architectural Millwork for globally-renowned designers and high end interior design firms. Responsibilities include the overall product development ranging from the start of conceptual ideation to the full scale manufacturing of the finished product of the client.

Specific tasks include the generation of 3D-models using Autodesk Inventor & develop the engineering information required to manufacture the end product. This information includes 3D-Modeling, Prototyping, Technical drawings, process guides & Manufacturing procedures, Bill of Materials, Cut lists and CNC programming.

Additional duties require the ongoing development of parametric cataloged based models in Inventor as well as developing custom products that can be re-utilized in order to increase productivity and design efficiency.

Responsible for the creation of all Standard & Custom Drawing Packages for all production pieces for each line of furniture. Creation of all working 3D Models & prototype pieces utilizing Autodesk Inventor software. Extensive CNC programming for a 3-Axis Fanuc Anderson CNC machine using Autodesk HSM Inventor. Utilized custom databases & programs to produce Bill of materials, cut lists and resources for shop production. Responsible for all standard operating procedures and machine SOP's for shop production.

Production of photography, media, and merchandising for the label.

Designed Bu Lan Guitar picks, a series of guitar picks handcrafted from recycled plastic, laminated veneer and solid wood. Each material was designed to produce a unique sound based on the materials properties and characteristics.

Custom kitchens & baths. Structural engineering & Design and Interior remodeling.

Responsible for the production of high quality, custom cabinets, tables, and seating using established methods as efficiently as possible.Operated and utilized all applicable equipment to learn new skills and develop more efficient methods for production.

Responsible for the development of new concept designs for emergency medical, firefighting and law enforcement professionals. Participated in staff brainstorming sessions for new concepts and website development. Developed concept graphics and renderings for soft-good products.

Responsible for mixing and checking the consistency of concrete used in preliminary and final models. Actively participated in brainstorming sessions to improve the development and processes of concrete furniture installations for the City of Rochester's ART WALK extension project.
