I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a BA in Industrial Design, double minoring in entrepreneurship and military leadership. Upon graduation, I was directly commissioned into the US Army and have served nearly eight years as an active duty Aviation Officer and Aviator rated in the UH-60 Black Hawk. During my active duty service, I developed a broad bank of experiences in creative problem-solving, organizational leadership, communication, and project management. Concurrent with my Army career, I honed my design skills in woodworking, metalworking, and graphic design, both as a hobbyist and a paid freelancer.
