Designer
Adams Childrenswear Ltd
Nuneaton, United States
* During my time with Komar I was responsible for designing both garments and graphics for toddler girl and boys ranges and nightwear/loungewear ranges for girls 9-14yrs and ladies for a variety of high st retailers. This role enabled me to concentrate on improving my graphics skills and I became competent in creating all over prints, placement prints and appliqué/embroidery ideas. It was my responsibility to present ranges along with proposed fabrics and to follow the style through development until production. I feel that working for a supplier allowed me to understand how different high st retailers work at various levels of the kidswear market. This enabled me to adapt my handwriting accordingly to suit different customer needs.
