Responsible for all aspects of web design and front end development, working closely with small and mid-sized business clients to develop full-scale websites and highly customized web content. Created and implemented targeted monthly email and social media campaigns. Improved SEO for client websites also created collateral print design pieces. Utilized the WordPress framework to develop websites and blogs requiring both simple and complex content management. - Worked with videographers to produce TV commercials and online viral/email video campaigns while ensuring optimal video quality and delivery on the web.

Worked on the marketing team designing and producing a product booklet, web pages, trade show banners, flyers and business cards. Responsible for concepts, production, printing, and implementation of marketing objectives.

Utilized front end development technologies to write and maintain semantic, reusable code for the website. Contributed to iterative team projects and front end architecture. Included debugging existing HTML, CSS, Javascript and Actionscript, designing and developing new web pages and also an HTML5 iPad app. Worked with dev teams to create dynamic Java page templates, QA/browser testing, working within an extensive file deployment process, optimizing performance and SEO. - Worked for 6 months on an Agile development team as a Flex UI designer/developer. Implemented application design and functionality based on business requirements, wireframes, mockups and workflow diagrams. Also designed and developed the company's Flash-based banner ads placed on 3rd party websites which loaded dynamic, targeted product content from our product API.

(contract through ESG) (working remotely) - Worked on a development team building the website's Javascript-based family tree application. I also worked on the photos team, helping build the Photos/Stories Node.js app. On both projects my responsibilities involved implementing the layout and functionality of the web application's user interface. Working in collaboration with designers, developers, and project/department/dev managers, from design comps and story directives I wrote clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS and Javascript using responsive design methods and maintaining compatibility in major browsers and mobile platforms. - Leveraged the in-house framework and also jQuery for event handling, DOM traversing and manipulation. Additionally I wrote "good parts", object-oriented Javascript where appropriate with attention to creating lightweight, reusable code. Wrote unit tests with JSTestDriver, researched and developed the first automated test for the app which utilized Sauce Labs when we switched to Node.js. Interacted with the API via AJAX requests to read and write data within the applications, using deferred objects and promises to handle responses from the API.

Poster and collateral design for events and marketing campaigns. Wrote, designed and helped implement a new style guide for the department. Consulted with clients and the project manager to create strategic promotional campaigns.
