For me design is about more than creating something beautiful and functional, but is also a tool to tackle difficult problems. I hope to find a group of people taking on these tough problems, designing solutions with community impact. I want to keep learning. About materials, manufacturing methods, new technologies, psychology, nature, business, architecture, mechanisms and design.
I am interested in designing for various fields, to collaborate with people of different backgrounds. I want to explore design, to continually add to my skills and knowledge. Build up my tool belt. Industrial Design is my passion because of the challenge, and the reward, of developing a better solution to a problem. I'm still in the beginning of my career, but I look forward to tackling big challenges.
My portfolio consists of projects I have completed designing for Watson Furniture, studying Industrial Design at Western Washington University, doing some freelance graphic design, and personal projects.
