SENIOR 3D ARTIST VISUALIZATION
Honda Motors
Torrance, CA
Jun 2013 - Jul 2024 (11 years 1 month)
At Honda, I began my career as a 3D modeler, where I played a crucial role in modernizing the Technical Training department. By leveraging 3D animation, I helped streamline the training process, transforming static illustrations into dynamic, multi-view models that enhanced learning and development.
I also collaborated with various departments, providing 3D assets for a wide range of applications. By extracting low-poly mesh data from Catia and re-surfacing it in Maya, I significantly reduced render times in Keyshot.
Additionally, I pioneered the use of 3D scanning technology to support the Surfacing department. This innovative approach enabled us to create multiple variations of a part and ensure seamless integration with adjacent surfaces, streamlining the design process and accelerating time-to-market.
